The final-year school trip (known in French-speaking Belgium as the "voyage de rhéto", taken in the last year of secondary school) is the memory a whole class keeps for years: the laughter on the coach, the first discoveries of a big city, the evenings with friends before saying goodbye. At Évadons-nous, we organise your final-year trip from A to Z, departing from your school, anywhere in Belgium. The pupils enjoy an unforgettable adventure; the school management and the teachers enjoy peace of mind, with a single point of contact, a clear quote and reliable organisation.

When to go and when to book
The final-year school trip usually takes place during the autumn, Carnival or spring holidays, depending on your school's calendar. To secure the best accommodation and your preferred dates, we recommend booking 6 to 9 months in advance.
Safety and supervision
Departure is on Sunday afternoon or evening, and the journey is made overnight: the pupils arrive at their destination on Monday morning, without losing a day on site (London and Amsterdam, which are closer, are reached during the day). On long journeys, two drivers take turns on board (double crew). Our safety rule, day and night: our drivers drive for a maximum of 3 hours, then take a 30-minute break.
Pupils stay in hotels or youth hostels suited to school groups, in rooms for 3 to 8, and the accompanying staff have separate rooms. A code of conduct is signed before departure, so that everyone knows the rules of the trip.
As for documents, each participant needs:
- a valid identity card or passport (passport compulsory for London);
- a parental consent form for pupils under 18;
- the European Health Insurance Card.
Price per pupil, accompanying staff and payment
As every trip is unique, we do not display prices: we draw up a free, no-obligation quote, calculated per pupil. The accompanying staff do not pay: their share is included in the pupils' price. A 40% deposit is required on confirmation, and the balance 30 days before departure. Both the deposit and the balance can be paid online. Optional cancellation and refund protection is also available, calculated per participant.
Funding your final-year trip
With a little organisation, the class can significantly reduce the families' contribution. A few tried-and-tested ideas:
- a class dinner (spaghetti, meatballs, raclette…);
- a sale of waffles, chocolates or lasagne;
- a Saturday car wash in the school car park;
- a raffle with prizes donated by local shopkeepers;
- a final-year party or evening;
- a student job during the holidays.
Our tips: appoint a small pupil committee, set a target per pupil, open a dedicated account and spread the activities over the whole year.
How it works
- You send your request: destination, period, number of pupils and accompanying staff.
- We send you a quote per pupil, free and with no obligation.
- You confirm with the 40% deposit, then manage the pupil list, the rooming list and the documents in your online area.
- On the big day, the coach is waiting for you in front of the school: all that's left is to enjoy it!

When do we leave and how does the journey work?

Pupils stay in hotels or youth hostels suited to school groups, in rooms for 3 to 8 pupils. The accompanying staff have separate rooms.
