The Renaissance up close: Florence and its masterpieces, the Leaning Tower of Pisa, Siena, San Gimignano and, as an option, the Cinque Terre, from a hotel in Montecatini Terme.
Based in the Montecatini Terme area, an elegant spa town listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, your pupils enjoy six nights on site and set off each day to discover a new side of Tuscany: Florence, the cradle of the Renaissance, the Piazza dei Miracoli in Pisa, the Piazza del Campo in Siena and the medieval towers of San Gimignano. Art, history, Italian and gastronomy are experienced first-hand, between visits and supervised free time in the streets and squares. Departure on Sunday afternoon or evening: the outward and return journeys are made overnight, with two drivers taking turns (double crew) and a 30-minute break every 3 hours of driving. Accommodation suited to school groups and separate rooms for the accompanying staff.
