Eight days of mountains and traditions: Zakopane, Morskie Oko lake, the Dunajec rafts, Wieliczka and Kraków.

In southern Poland, the Tatras are the highest part of the Carpathians and form a protected national park. Pupils discover Zakopane, its wooden architecture and the culture of the Górale highlanders, known for their smoked cheese, oscypek. A hike along the forest road to Morskie Oko leads to the largest lake in the Tatras, at the foot of peaks over 2,000 metres high. In the Pieniny, rafting down the Dunajec on traditional rafts, steered by raftsmen in costume, passes through spectacular gorges. The trip ends in Kraków and at the Wieliczka Salt Mine, both UNESCO sites. This tour suits geography, science and physical education classes, from age 10 to the end of secondary school.
