Five days in Westende: the Belgian coast from De Panne to Knokke on the coast tram, promenades, beaches and a free day.
A peaceful resort in the middle of the coast, Westende is the ideal base for exploring the whole Belgian seaside without effort. Your group boards the coast tram, often described as the longest tram line in the world, to discover dunes, harbours and resorts while seated, from De Panne near the French border to Knokke and its elegant villas. An entirely free day lets you enjoy the beach, a terrace or a rest at the hotel. The coach remains available for the longest journeys, and all walks are on flat promenades. Getting on and off the tram involves one low step.
Programme
Day 1: Arrival in Westende
- Departure in the morning from the pick-up point of your choice.
- Coffee break on the way; our drivers drive for 3 hours at most, then take a 30-minute break.
- Arrival in Westende in the late morning.
- Reserved lunch on the promenade (on request).
- Gentle stroll along the Westende promenade.
- Check-in at the hotel near the sea, dinner and overnight stay.
Day 2: By tram to De Panne
- Breakfast at the hotel.
- Coast tram tickets for the group (on request).
- Coast tram ride to De Panne, through the dunes of the Westhoek.
- Stroll along the De Panne promenade and free time.

- Return to Westende by coach.
- Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 3: Free day in Westende
- Breakfast at the hotel.
- Free day: beach, stroll along the promenade or rest at the hotel.
- Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 4: Knokke and back by tram
- Breakfast at the hotel.
- Coach drive to Knokke and stroll along the promenade and the shopping streets.
- Reserved lunch in Knokke (on request).
- Return by coast tram to Westende, enjoying the coastal scenery.
- Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 5: Return
- Breakfast at the hotel.
- Free morning on the promenade.
- Reserved lunch in Westende (on request).
- Return journey in the afternoon, arriving back in your area in the evening.
