Four days in Wenduine: peaceful promenade, Spioenkop dune, a day in Bruges with a canal boat trip, and free time.

Wenduine, a small, quiet resort between De Haan and Blankenberge, has kept a family atmosphere with its promenade, its villas and its famous Spioenkop dune. Your group enjoys the sea at its own pace, with a day in nearby Bruges for a guided tour and a canal boat trip, ideal for admiring the city while seated. On the third day, an easy seaside walk or a few tram stops lead to De Haan and its Belle Époque villas. The rest of the time is free: beach, terrace or rest at the hotel. In Bruges, cobbled streets call for good shoes, but distances remain short.

Programme

Day 1: Arrival in Wenduine

  • Departure in the morning from the pick-up point of your choice.
  • Coffee break on the way; our drivers drive for 3 hours at most, then take a 30-minute break.
  • Arrival in Wenduine in the late morning.
  • Reserved lunch on the promenade (on request).
  • Stroll along the promenade to the foot of the Spioenkop dune.
  • Check-in at the hotel near the sea, dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2: Bruges

  • Breakfast at the hotel.
  • Short coach ride to Bruges.
  • Guided tour of the historic centre: Markt, Burg Square and béguinage (on request).
  • Reserved lunch in Bruges (on request).
  • Canal boat trip (on request).
  • Free time in the chocolate shops before returning to Wenduine.
  • Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 3: De Haan and free afternoon

  • Breakfast at the hotel.
  • Easy seaside walk to De Haan, or a ride on the coast tram.
  • Discovery of De Haan’s Belle Époque villa quarter.
  • Reserved lunch in De Haan (on request).
  • Free afternoon in Wenduine.
  • Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 4: Return

  • Breakfast at the hotel.
  • Free morning on the promenade.
  • Reserved lunch in Wenduine (on request).
  • Return journey in the afternoon, arriving back in your area in the evening.

  • A valid identity card is required; departure and return times are adapted to your pick-up point.
  • Walking level: easy (short walks, frequent breaks, coach close by).
  • Wheelchair users and guests with reduced mobility: please let us know when booking; bring your usual medication.
  • The trip is possible all year round; canal boat trips in Bruges run mainly from March to November (to be checked for your dates).

Cancellation and refund protection

Optional, to be taken when booking: you can cancel without giving a reason and get the base price of the trip back, provided your request reaches us at least 48 hours before departure for a day trip, 7 days before if admission tickets are included, 14 days before for a trip with overnight stays. Price: 7 % of the trip up to €1,000, 5 % from €1,001 to €2,500, 3.5 % above.
