Two days in Utrecht: canals lined with sunken wharves, the Dom quarter and a visit to fairy-tale De Haar Castle.
Utrecht is a friendly university city, quieter than Amsterdam, whose canals are unusual for their sunken wharves, now lined with terraces. Your group discovers the Dom quarter, its cloister and garden, on a flat guided walk. A boat trip on the Oudegracht then offers an original view of the old merchants’ cellars. The next day, De Haar Castle, rebuilt at the end of the 19th century in a spectacular neo-Gothic style, is visited in the middle of its vast park. One night in a hotel and little driving: an ideal short break for a first outing of the year.
Programme
Day 1: Utrecht and its canals
- Morning departure from the pick-up point of your choice.
- Our drivers drive for a maximum of 3 hours, then take a 30-minute break.
- Arrival in Utrecht in the late morning.

- Guided walk in the Dom quarter: Dom Square, cloister and garden, canons’ houses (on request)
- Guided boat trip on the Oudegracht and its sunken wharves (on request)
- Check-in at the hotel for 1 night, dinner at the hotel.
Day 2: De Haar Castle and return
- Breakfast at the hotel, then a short drive to Haarzuilens.
- Guided tour of De Haar Castle and walk in its gardens (on request)

- Return journey in the early afternoon.
- Return to your region in the evening.
