Three relaxed days in Amsterdam: a canal cruise, the masterpieces of the Rijksmuseum and the windmills of Zaanse Schans.

Amsterdam is best discovered from the water, sitting comfortably on a boat gliding past 17th-century gabled houses. Your group enjoys three unhurried days, with a single hotel on half board and guided visits. At the Rijksmuseum, Rembrandt’s Night Watch and Vermeer’s paintings await art lovers. On the last day, the wooden windmills of Zaanse Schans offer a living postcard of old Holland, with cheese and clogs. Journeys are short, breaks are regular and everyone keeps free time to wander.
