Dolenjska and Zagreb: spa, Novo Mesto, Otočec Castle and Kostanjevica na Krki (7 days)

Day 1: Drive to southern Germany

• Morning departure from the pick-up point of your choice.
• Regular breaks: our drivers drive for a maximum of 3 hours, then take a 30-minute break.
• Drive into Germany, lunch at leisure on the way.
• Late-afternoon arrival at the stopover hotel in southern Germany, dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Through Austria to Dolenjska

• Breakfast, then drive through Austria and Ljubljana.
• Late-afternoon arrival in the spa town and check-in for 4 nights.
• Dinner at the hotel.

Day 3: Novo Mesto, Otočec and Kostanjevica

• Guided tour of Novo Mesto, in a bend of the Krka (on request).
• Stop at Otočec Castle, on its island in the Krka.
• Lunch with a tasting of cviček (on request).
• Visit of the Forma Viva sculpture park and the gallery in the former monastery of Kostanjevica na Krki (on request).
• Back to the hotel, dinner.

Day 4: Free day at the spa

• Free day, the driver’s rest day.
• Thermal baths, a walk in the surroundings or rest at the hotel.
• Spa treatments (on request).
• Dinner at the hotel.

Day 5: Zagreb, capital of Croatia

• Drive to Zagreb, in Croatia.
• Guided tour of the upper and lower town: cathedral, St Mark’s Church and Dolac market (on request).
• Funicular ride to the upper town (on request).
• Lunch in the centre (on request).
• Back to the hotel in the late afternoon, farewell dinner.

Day 6: Return drive to Germany

• Breakfast, then return drive through Austria.
• Late-afternoon arrival at the stopover hotel in southern Germany, dinner and overnight.

Day 7: Return to Belgium

• Breakfast, then the last leg to Belgium.
• Return to your area in the late afternoon or early evening.
