Carinthia and Slovenia: the Wörthersee, Klagenfurt, Ljubljana and Bled (9 days)

Day 1: Drive to southern Germany

• Morning departure from the pick-up point of your choice.
• Regular breaks: our drivers drive for a maximum of 3 hours, then take a 30-minute break.
• Drive into Germany, lunch at leisure on the way.
• Late-afternoon arrival at the stopover hotel in southern Germany, dinner and overnight.

Day 2: To Carinthia

• Breakfast, then drive through Austria to Carinthia.
• Mid-afternoon arrival by the Wörthersee and check-in for 2 nights.
• Lakeside stroll, dinner at the hotel.

Day 3: The Wörthersee

• Boat cruise on the Wörthersee (on request).
• Stop at Maria Wörth and its churches on the peninsula.
• Lift ride up the Pyramidenkogel observation tower (on request).
• Lunch by the lake (on request).
• Free time on the Velden promenade, dinner at the hotel.

Day 4: Klagenfurt and on to Ljubljana

• Guided tour of Klagenfurt city centre and its Dragon Fountain (on request).
• Lunch in the old town (on request).
• In the afternoon, drive to Slovenia through the Karawanks Tunnel.
• Arrival in Ljubljana and check-in for 4 nights, dinner.

Day 5: Ljubljana, the green capital

• Guided tour of the old town: Prešeren Square, the Triple Bridge, the Dragon Bridge and the central market (on request).
• Funicular ride up to Ljubljana Castle (on request).
• Boat trip on the Ljubljanica (on request).
• Free time on a terrace, dinner at the hotel.

Day 6: Free day in Ljubljana

• Free day, the driver’s rest day.
• Time to stroll in Tivoli Park, the market or the museums, on foot or by public transport.
• Dinner at the hotel.

Day 7: Škofja Loka and Lake Bled

• Drive to Škofja Loka and stroll through the medieval old town.
• Visit of the Škofja Loka Castle museum (on request).
• Lunch in the area (on request).
• In the afternoon, Lake Bled and crossing by pletna to the island (on request).
• Back to Ljubljana, farewell dinner at the hotel.

Day 8: Return drive to Germany

• Breakfast, then return drive through Austria.
• Late-afternoon arrival at the stopover hotel in southern Germany, dinner and overnight.

Day 9: Return to Belgium

• Breakfast, then the last leg to Belgium.
• Return to your area in the late afternoon or early evening.
