Saint-Omer and Cassel: a boat trip in the Audomarois marshes, Notre-Dame Cathedral and a view over Flanders from Mont Cassel.

On the border of Flanders and Artois, Saint-Omer hides a natural treasure: the Audomarois marshes, a UNESCO biosphere reserve, where market gardeners still tend their plots by boat. A commented boat trip lets you discover it seated, along canals lined with gardens and houses on the water. Notre-Dame Cathedral, one of the finest in northern France, holds the revered statue of the Great God of Thérouanne and an astronomical clock. In the afternoon, the coach climbs to the village of Cassel, perched on top of its hill, from where the view stretches across the Flemish plain. A calm day, less than two hours from the border.

Cancellation and refund protection

Optional, to be taken when booking: you can cancel without giving a reason and get the base price of the trip back, provided your request reaches us at least 48 hours before departure for a day trip, 7 days before if admission tickets are included, 14 days before for a trip with overnight stays. Price: 7 % of the trip up to €1,000, 5 % from €1,001 to €2,500, 3.5 % above.
