Three days between modern Rotterdam and its port, the 19 UNESCO-listed windmills of Kinderdijk and the town of Gouda.
Rotterdam, rebuilt after 1940, surprises with its bold architecture: the Erasmus Bridge, the cube houses and the great covered market of the Markthal. A cruise in one of Europe’s largest ports shows the scale of its installations while you sit comfortably on board. Nearby, the 19 windmills of Kinderdijk, a World Heritage Site, show how the Dutch won their land from the water. On the last day, Gouda and its Gothic town hall offer a delicious break around the famous cheese. Two nights in the same hotel on half board and short journeys guarantee a restful trip.
