Schönbrunn, Sisi's Hofburg, Klimt's Kiss at the Belvedere and the Prater's giant Ferris wheel: the Habsburg capital in six days.
Vienna brings six centuries of the Habsburg empire to life for pupils: Schönbrunn Palace and its gardens, the Hofburg and Sisi’s apartments, the Ring lined by the Opera and Parliament, St Stephen’s Cathedral, as well as Klimt’s Vienna at the Belvedere and the Prater Ferris wheel. As the city is more than 1,000 km away, the trip includes an overnight stop in Nuremberg on the way out and in Regensburg on the way back. The departure date and time are set with your school in the quote. The journey is made by day, with a 30-minute break every 3 hours of driving, and the coach stays with the group on site throughout the stay. An elegant, safe and easy-to-explore capital.

Good to know
- Valid identity card or passport, signed parental consent form for each pupil under 18 and European Health Insurance Card (EHIC), to be requested from your health insurance fund a few weeks before departure.
- Our drivers drive for a maximum of 3 hours, then take a 30-minute break, day and night. As the journey exceeds 900 km, an overnight stop is planned on the way out in the Nuremberg area and on the way back in Regensburg: no night driving.
- Supervision is provided by the accompanying teachers; each pupil signs a code of conduct based on the school rules (no alcohol for minors or on the coach, no drug use, punctuality and compliance with instructions during free time, no thrill rides at the Prater without the teachers’ consent).
- The pupil list and rooming list are entered in the school’s online area (Excel import possible); rooms are allocated according to your instructions.
- Recommended period: April to June, September–October or December for the Christmas markets; Schönbrunn visits are by timed slot and should be booked early. Austria uses the euro and the same electrical sockets as Belgium; Vienna’s tap water, which comes from the Alps, is excellent. Lunches are not included: allow about €10–15 per pupil per day.
