Innsbruck, Ötzi the Iceman in Bolzano, the Alpe di Siusi, Lake Carezza and the Pordoi Pass: a great trip to the heart of the Alps.

This final-year trip crosses the Alps from the Austrian Tyrol to the Italian Dolomites, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Pupils discover Innsbruck and the Nordkette, cross the Brenner Pass and meet Ötzi, the 5,300-year-old Iceman, at the museum in Bolzano. In the Dolomites, they walk on the Alpe di Siusi, Europe’s largest high-altitude alpine meadow, stroll through Ortisei, pass Lake Carezza and go up the Sass Pordoi. The departure date and time are set with your school in the quote. The journey is made in daytime, with a 30-minute break every 3 hours of driving, and the coach stays with the group.

  • Our drivers drive for a maximum of 3 hours, then take a 30-minute break, day and night. Given the distance (about 1,150 km), two drivers take turns and an overnight stop is planned on the way out and on the way back: no night driving.

  • The pupil list and rooming list are entered in the school's online area (Excel import possible); rooms are allocated according to your instructions.
  • Recommended period: mid-June to late September, when the Dolomites lifts are running and the passes are clear; above 2,000 m it can be cold even in summer: bring a warm jacket, a cap and sun cream.
