From the Rhine Falls to Geneva's Jet d'Eau, a grand tour of Switzerland: Zurich, Lucerne, the Jungfrau, Bern, Gruyères and Lake Geneva.
This grand tour crosses Switzerland in a week, from the German-speaking north to the shores of Lake Geneva. Pupils discover the Rhine Falls and Zurich’s old town, sail on Lake Lucerne, get close to the peaks of the Bernese Oberland, stroll under the arcades of Bern, visit the village of Gruyères and finish in Lausanne and Geneva, the international city. Three stops of two nights each keep changes of accommodation to a minimum. The departure date and time are set with your school in the quote. The journey is made in daytime, with a 30-minute break every 3 hours on the road, and the coach stays with the group on site.

Good to know
- Valid identity card or passport, signed parental consent form for each pupil under 18 and European Health Insurance Card (EHIC), to be requested from your health insurance fund a few weeks before departure. For Switzerland, an identity card is sufficient; the currency there is the Swiss franc (bank cards and often euros accepted).
- Our drivers drive for a maximum of 3 hours, then take a 30-minute break, day and night.
- Supervision is provided by the accompanying teachers; each pupil signs a code of conduct based on the school rules (no alcohol for minors or on the coach, no drug use, punctuality and compliance with instructions during free time, care in the mountains and near water, compliance with the instructions of mountain railway staff).
- The pupil list and rooming list are entered in the school's online area (Excel import possible); rooms are allocated according to your instructions.
- Recommended period: May to September, when mountain railways and boats run their full timetables; at altitude the weather changes quickly, so bring warm clothes, sun cream and sunglasses, even in summer. The Jungfraujoch should be booked early at the group rate. Switzerland is more expensive than Belgium: allow a budget of around €15–20 per pupil per day for lunches.
