Lucerne's Chapel Bridge, the arcades of Bern, Interlaken, the Lauterbrunnen valley and the Jungfraujoch: Switzerland at its finest.
This final-year trip reveals postcard Switzerland. In Lucerne, pupils cross the Chapel Bridge and sail on Lake Lucerne; in Bern, they explore the UNESCO-listed arcaded old town; from Interlaken, they head to the Lauterbrunnen Valley and its waterfalls, to Grindelwald at the foot of the Eiger and, for those who wish, to the Jungfraujoch at 3,454 m. The departure date and time are set with your school in the quote. The journey is made in daytime, with a 30-minute break every 3 hours on the road, and the coach stays with the group on site.

Good to know
- Valid identity card or passport, signed parental consent form for each pupil under 18 and European Health Insurance Card (EHIC), to be requested from your health insurance fund a few weeks before departure. For Switzerland, an identity card is sufficient; the currency there is the Swiss franc (bank cards and often euros accepted).
- Our drivers drive for a maximum of 3 hours, then take a 30-minute break, day and night.
- Supervision is provided by the accompanying teachers; each pupil signs a code of conduct based on the school rules (no alcohol for minors or on the coach, no drug use, punctuality and compliance with instructions during free time, care in the mountains and on the paths, compliance with the instructions of mountain railway staff).
- The pupil list and rooming list are entered in the school's online area (Excel import possible); rooms are allocated according to your instructions.
- Recommended period: May to September to make the most of the mountains; at altitude the weather changes quickly, so bring warm clothes, sun cream and sunglasses, even in summer. Mountain trains are booked in advance at group rates. Switzerland is more expensive than Belgium: for the free lunches, allow a budget of around €15–20 per pupil per day.
