Strasbourg, its cathedral and Petite France, the European Parliament, a boat trip on the Ill and a full day at Europa-Park.

Strasbourg brings together everything you expect from an end-of-school trip: a magnificent city, with its pink sandstone cathedral, Petite France and its half-timbered houses, the European quarter where pupils discover the European Parliament, and a boat trip on the Ill. And, less than an hour away, a full day at Europa-Park, one of the best theme parks in Europe. The date and time of departure are set with your school in the quote; the journey is made by day, with a 30-minute break every 3 hours of driving, and the coach stays with the group on site throughout the stay.

Good to know

  • Valid identity card or passport, signed parental consent form for each pupil under 18 and European Health Insurance Card (EHIC), to be requested from your health insurance fund a few weeks before departure.
  • Our drivers drive for a maximum of 3 hours, then take a 30-minute break, day and night.
  • Supervision is provided by the accompanying teachers; each pupil signs a code of conduct based on the school rules (no alcohol for minors or on the coach, no drug use, punctuality and compliance with instructions). At Europa-Park, pupils move around in small groups and meet at the set points and times; at the European Parliament, an identity document is required at the entrance and security checks are similar to those at an airport.
  • The pupil list and rooming list are entered in the school's online area (Excel import possible); rooms are allocated according to your instructions.
  • Recommended period: April to June or September–October, during Europa-Park's summer season (the park also opens in winter on certain dates). The European Parliament is booked several months in advance; France and Germany use the euro and lunches are not included (budget of around €10–15 per pupil per day, a little more at the park).
