Copenhagen and Tivoli, Gothenburg and its archipelago, Stockholm and the Vasa Museum: a great Scandinavian journey to the rhythm of ferries.
This trip links three great Nordic cities, from Denmark to Sweden. In Copenhagen, pupils discover Nyhavn, the Little Mermaid and the Tivoli Gardens; they visit Kronborg Castle, Hamlet’s castle, before crossing the Øresund to Gothenburg, its archipelago and Liseberg park. In Stockholm, the old town of Gamla Stan, the Vasa warship and Skansen await them. Three ferry crossings mark the route, and overnight stops near Hamburg and in Malmö avoid any night driving. The departure date and time are set with your school in the quote. The journey is made by day, with a 30-minute break every 3 hours of driving, and the coach stays with the group on site.

Good to know
- Valid identity card or passport, signed parental consent form for each pupil under 18 and European Health Insurance Card (EHIC), to be requested from your health insurance fund a few weeks before departure; an identity card is enough for Denmark and Sweden, which are members of the European Union and the Schengen area.
- Our drivers drive for a maximum of 3 hours, then take a 30-minute break, day and night. Given the distance (about 1,550 km between Stockholm and Brussels), an overnight stop is planned near Hamburg on the way out, then in Malmö and near Hamburg on the way back; two drivers take turns at the wheel and there is no night driving.
- Supervision is provided by the accompanying teachers; each pupil signs a code of conduct based on the school rules (no alcohol for minors or on the coach, no drug use, punctuality and compliance with instructions during free time, respect for the residents in the Freetown of Christiania, where photos are forbidden in some streets).
- The pupil list and rooming list are entered in the school's online area (Excel import possible); rooms are allocated according to your instructions.
- Recommended period: mid-May to mid-June or late August to early September, when the days are long and Tivoli and Liseberg are open (seasonal opening dates to be checked). Denmark uses the Danish krone (DKK) and Sweden the Swedish krona (SEK); in Sweden, almost everything is paid by card. Scandinavia is expensive: allow a lunch budget of around €15–20 per pupil per day, or the hotel’s packed lunches.
