Six days on the slopes of a large Haute-Savoie ski area, with lift pass, equipment and ESF lessons included: a real ski week to end the year.

A real ski week to round off secondary school together. Staying close to the slopes in a Haute-Savoie resort, pupils ski or snowboard for six full days, with a group lesson from the French Ski School (ESF) every morning by ability level and supervised skiing with the teachers in the afternoon. Beginners make rapid progress, experienced skiers explore the ski area, and the ESF tests on the last day crown the week. The departure date and time are set with your school in the quote. The journey is made in daytime, with a 30-minute break every 3 hours of driving, and the coach stays with the group.

Good to know

  • Valid identity card or passport, signed parental consent form for each pupil under 18 and European Health Insurance Card (EHIC), to be requested from your health insurance fund a few weeks before departure.
  • Our drivers drive for a maximum of 3 hours, then take a 30-minute break, day and night. Two drivers take turns on this long journey, which is made entirely in daytime, both ways.
  • Supervision is provided by the accompanying teachers; each pupil signs a code of conduct based on the school rules (no alcohol for minors or on the coach, no drug use, punctuality and compliance with instructions during free time, helmets compulsory, skiing in pairs at least on open slopes, never off-piste, respect for lift opening times).
  • The pupil list and rooming list are entered in the school’s online area (Excel import possible); rooms are allocated according to your instructions.
  • Recommended period: January to late March, preferably outside French school holidays for quieter slopes; group accommodation in resorts is booked 8 to 12 months ahead. Bring warm, waterproof ski clothing, gloves, a hat, goggles and sun cream. As mountain rescue on the slopes is charged in France, ski rescue insurance is strongly recommended. Lunches are not included: plan on about €12 to €15 per pupil per day, or hotel packed lunches.
