Five days on the slopes of Haute-Savoie, with lift pass, equipment and ESF lessons by level, from beginner to expert, and lively evenings.

This ski trip offers five proper days on the snow in a Haute-Savoie resort. Every morning, pupils take a French Ski School group lesson by level; in the afternoon, they ski with their teachers on suitable runs, from the first snowplough turns to red runs. The lift pass and ski or snowboard hire are included, and evenings are shared between the ice rink, snowshoeing at sunset and evenings at the accommodation. On the last day, everyone takes their ESF test. The departure date and time are set with your school in the quote. The journey is made in daytime, with a 30-minute break every 3 hours on the road, and the coach stays with the group on site.

Good to know

  • Valid identity card or passport, signed parental consent form for each pupil under 18 and European Health Insurance Card (EHIC), to be requested from your health insurance fund a few weeks before departure. As mountain rescue on the slopes is charged for in France, mountain rescue insurance is strongly recommended.

  • Supervision is provided by the accompanying teachers; each pupil signs a code of conduct based on the school rules (no alcohol for minors or on the coach, no drug use, punctuality and compliance with instructions during free time, helmet compulsory, skiing in pairs at least on open runs and never off-piste).
  • The pupil list and rooming list are entered in the school's online area (Excel import possible); rooms are allocated according to your instructions.
  • Recommended period: January to the end of March, preferably outside the French school holidays for quieter slopes; group accommodation in resorts is booked 8 to 12 months in advance. Bring warm, waterproof ski clothing, gloves, a hat, goggles and sun cream. Lunches are not included: allow a budget of around €10–15 per pupil per day, or hotel packed lunches on request.
