Four days of skiing or snowboarding in Haute-Savoie, with ESF lessons, lift pass and equipment included: the ideal trip to bond the class.

There is nothing like a week in the snow to round off the final year. Staying in a resort in Haute-Savoie, pupils enjoy four full days on the slopes, with a group lesson from the École du Ski Français (the French ski school) every day by ability level, from complete beginners to confident skiers, followed by free skiing supervised by the teachers. Lift pass, equipment and helmet are included, and the evenings in the resort make for lasting memories. The departure date and time are set with your school in the quote. The journey is made by day, with a 30-minute break every 3 hours of driving, and the coach stays with the group on site.

Good to know

  • Valid identity card or passport, signed parental consent form for each pupil under 18 and European Health Insurance Card (EHIC), to be requested from your health insurance fund a few weeks before departure; as mountain rescue on the slopes is charged for in France, slope rescue insurance is strongly recommended.
  • Our drivers drive for a maximum of 3 hours, then take a 30-minute break, day and night. Two drivers take turns on this long journey, which is made entirely by day.
  • Supervision is provided by the accompanying teachers; each pupil signs a code of conduct based on the school rules (no alcohol for minors or on the coach, no drug use, punctuality and compliance with instructions, helmet compulsory, skiing in pairs at least on open runs and never off-piste).
  • The pupil list and rooming list are entered in the school’s online area (Excel import possible); rooms are allocated according to your instructions.
  • Recommended period: January to the end of March, preferably outside the French school holidays for quieter slopes; group accommodation in ski resorts is booked 8 to 12 months in advance. Bring warm, waterproof ski clothing, gloves, a hat, goggles and sun cream; lunches are not included: allow a budget of around €10–15 per pupil per day, or hotel packed lunches on request.
