Bold Rotterdam, The Hague and Scheveningen beach, Delft's old town and the windmills of Kinderdijk: modern and classic Holland in four days.
Another side of the Netherlands, barely two hours from Belgium: Rotterdam, an architecture laboratory with its Markthal, its cube houses and the Erasmus Bridge, and its port, one of the largest in Europe, discovered by boat. Then The Hague, city of government, the Mauritshuis and Madurodam, with Scheveningen beach, Delft and its canals, and the 19 UNESCO-listed windmills of Kinderdijk. The date and time of departure are set with your school in the quote; the journey is made by day, with a 30-minute break every 3 hours of driving, and the coach stays with the group on site throughout the stay.

Good to know
- Valid identity card or passport, signed parental consent form for each pupil under 18 and European Health Insurance Card (EHIC), to be requested from your health insurance fund a few weeks before departure.
- Our drivers drive for a maximum of 3 hours, then take a 30-minute break, day and night.
- Supervision is provided by the accompanying teachers; each pupil signs a code of conduct based on the school rules (no alcohol for minors or on the coach, no drug use, coffee shops excluded from the programme and prohibited for under-18s, punctuality and compliance with instructions during free time). Care is needed around bikes, trams and cycle paths, which are very busy in all three cities.
- The pupil list and rooming list are entered in the school's online area (Excel import possible); rooms are allocated according to your instructions.
- Recommended period: April to June or September–October; the area around the Binnenhof, under renovation, may be partly closed. The Netherlands uses the euro; bring a raincoat and a windbreaker for the port and the beach, and a budget of around €10–15 per pupil per day for lunches.
