Medieval Nuremberg, the Nazi rally grounds and the trial courtroom, then Munich, Dachau and the Olympic Park: history in Bavaria.
Nuremberg and Munich help pupils understand 20th-century Germany at the very places where history happened. In Nuremberg, an imperial city with a rich medieval past, they discover the castle, the old town, the vast Nazi Party Rally Grounds and Courtroom 600, where the regime’s leaders were tried. In Munich, they visit the old town, the Dachau camp memorial and the 1972 Olympic Park. The departure date and time are set with your school in the quote. The journey is made by day, with a 30-minute break every 3 hours of driving, and the coach stays with the group on site throughout the stay. An ideal trip for history classes.
