Three countries in four days: the lanes of Maastricht, Charlemagne’s city, the three-country point, Cologne Cathedral and the village of Monschau.
With no long hours on the road, this trip takes pupils from one country to another in the heart of the Euregio: Maastricht, its lively squares and caves, Aachen, Charlemagne’s city, the three-country point where Belgium, the Netherlands and Germany meet, then Cologne and its cathedral. A great way to experience a Europe without borders and to practise the neighbouring languages. The departure date and time are set with your school in the quote; the journey is made by day, with a 30-minute break every 3 hours of driving, and the coach stays with the group on site.

- Valid identity card or passport, signed parental consent form for each pupil under 18 and European Health Insurance Card (EHIC), to be requested from your health insurance fund a few weeks before departure.
- Our drivers drive for a maximum of 3 hours, then take a 30-minute break, day and night.
- Supervision is provided by the accompanying teachers; each pupil signs a code of conduct based on the school rules (no alcohol for minors or on the coach, no drug use, Maastricht coffee shops excluded from the programme and prohibited for under-18s, punctuality and compliance with instructions during free time).
- The pupil list and rooming list are entered in the school’s online area (Excel import possible); rooms are allocated according to your instructions.
- Recommended period: all year round, with a special atmosphere in December thanks to the Christmas markets of Aachen, Cologne and Maastricht (book early); it is about 10 °C in the caves, so bring a jacket. All three countries use the euro and the same electrical sockets as Belgium. Lunches are not included: allow a budget of around €10–15 per pupil per day; on request, the hotel can provide packed lunches.
