Luxembourg's fortress and casemates, the EU Court of Justice, Roman Trier and its Porta Nigra, and Schengen on the Moselle.
Just two to three hours away, Luxembourg brings together the great themes of history and citizenship lessons in a single trip: a fortress capital riddled with casemates, the European district of Kirchberg and the Court of Justice of the European Union, then Trier, Germany’s oldest city, with its Roman monuments listed by UNESCO, and Schengen, symbol of a Europe without borders. The departure date and time are set with your school in the quote; the journey is made by day, with a 30-minute break every 3 hours of driving, and the coach stays with the group on site.
