Two days in the heart of London, then Oxford's colleges and the picture-postcard Cotswolds villages: English city and countryside.

This final-year trip shows two faces of England. In London, pupils explore Westminster, Buckingham Palace, the British Museum, Tate Modern and the banks of the Thames; in Oxford, they step into the world of the oldest colleges in the English-speaking world, before discovering the golden-stone villages of the Cotswolds, such as Bourton-on-the-Water and Bibury. The departure date and time are set with your school in the quote. The journey is made in daytime, with a 30-minute break every 3 hours on the road, and the coach stays with the group on site for all the excursions.

Good to know

  • A valid passport is compulsory for every pupil and accompanying adult (an identity card is not enough), together with an Electronic Travel Authorisation (ETA) applied for online before departure, a signed parental consent form for each pupil under 18 and the European Health Insurance Card (EHIC) from your health insurance fund; pupils who are not EU nationals should check whether they need a visa.
  • Our drivers drive for a maximum of 3 hours, then take a 30-minute break, day and night.
  • Supervision is provided by the accompanying teachers; each pupil signs a code of conduct based on the school rules (no alcohol for minors or on the coach, no drug use, punctuality and compliance with instructions during free time, care in traffic, which drives on the left, discretion in the Oxford colleges, which remain places of study).
  • The pupil list and rooming list are entered in the school's online area (Excel import possible); rooms are allocated according to your instructions.
  • Recommended period: April to October, when the Cotswolds are at their most beautiful; some Oxford colleges close occasionally (exams, ceremonies), so opening times are checked before departure. The UK uses the pound sterling (bank cards accepted almost everywhere) and type G sockets, so an adapter is needed. Lunches are not included: allow around €10–15 per pupil per day; bring a raincoat, as English rain is no legend.
