Three days in London, then Canterbury, Windsor Castle, Stonehenge, Salisbury, Portsmouth, Brighton and the white cliffs of the Seven Sisters.

This trip combines the British capital with the finest sights of southern England. After a stop at Canterbury Cathedral, pupils spend three days in London, from Westminster to the British Museum and from the Tower of London to Camden. They then head for Windsor and its royal castle, discover the mysterious stone circle of Stonehenge, Salisbury Cathedral and the historic ships of Portsmouth, and finish by the sea in Brighton and on the white cliffs of the Seven Sisters. A complete immersion for practising English. The departure date and time are set with your school in the quote. Travel is by day, with a 30-minute break every 3 hours of driving, and the coach stays with the group on site.

Good to know

  • A valid passport is compulsory for every pupil and member of staff (an identity card is not enough to enter the United Kingdom), along with an Electronic Travel Authorisation (ETA) applied for online before departure; signed parental consent form for each pupil under 18 and European Health Insurance Card (EHIC). Pupils of other nationalities should check their own entry requirements.
  • Our drivers drive for a maximum of 3 hours, then take a 30-minute break, day and night.
  • Supervision is provided by the accompanying teachers; each pupil signs a code of conduct based on the school rules (no alcohol for minors or on the coach, no drug use, punctuality and compliance with instructions during free time, care when crossing the road, as traffic drives on the left in the UK: look right first, and a safe distance from cliff edges).
  • The pupil list and rooming list are entered in the school's online area (Excel import possible); rooms are allocated according to your instructions.
  • Recommended period: April to June or September–October; apply for passports and ETAs at least two months before departure, and book Stonehenge and Windsor Castle early, as their opening days vary with the season. The United Kingdom uses the pound sterling (cards are accepted almost everywhere), sockets are type G (adapter needed) and the time is one hour behind Belgium. Lunches are not included: allow a budget of around £10–15 per pupil per day.
