Montpellier, the ramparts of Aigues-Mortes and Espiguette beaches, the Nîmes arena, the Pont du Gard, Sète and the medieval city of Carcassonne.
This final-year trip combines sunshine, beaches and great chapters of history. Pupils discover Montpellier, a student city, the fortified town of Aigues-Mortes and the wild beaches of L’Espiguette, then the “French Rome”: the Nîmes Arena, the Maison Carrée and the Pont du Gard. After Sète and the nine Fonseranes locks on the Canal du Midi, the trip ends in Carcassonne, Europe’s largest fortified medieval city and a UNESCO site. The departure date and time are set with your school in the quote. The journey is made in daytime, with a 30-minute break every 3 hours of driving, and the coach stays with the group on site.
