The White Cliffs of Dover, Canterbury Cathedral, Leeds Castle on its lake, then two days in London: the England of history and the England of today.
This final-year trip begins with the most spectacular arrival in England: the ferry crossing to the White Cliffs of Dover. Pupils then discover Dover Castle and its Second World War tunnels, Canterbury and its cathedral, the great pilgrimage site of Thomas Becket, and Leeds Castle standing on its lake, before two days in London. The departure date and time are set with your school in the quote. The journey is made in daytime, with a 30-minute break every 3 hours on the road, and the coach stays with the group on site for all the visits.

Good to know
- A valid passport is compulsory for every pupil and accompanying adult (an identity card is not enough), together with an Electronic Travel Authorisation (ETA) applied for online before departure, a signed parental consent form for each pupil under 18 and the European Health Insurance Card (EHIC) from your health insurance fund; pupils who are not EU nationals should check whether they need a visa.
- Our drivers drive for a maximum of 3 hours, then take a 30-minute break, day and night.
- Supervision is provided by the accompanying teachers; each pupil signs a code of conduct based on the school rules (no alcohol for minors or on the coach, no drug use, punctuality and compliance with instructions during free time, care in traffic, which drives on the left, and on the cliff path, where everyone stays well back from the edge).
- The pupil list and rooming list are entered in the school's online area (Excel import possible); rooms are allocated according to your instructions.
- Recommended period: April to October, for the gardens of Leeds Castle and the cliff walk; the sea can be rough in winter, so bring seasickness medication for pupils who need it. The UK uses the pound sterling (bank cards accepted almost everywhere) and type G sockets, so an adapter is needed. Lunches are not included: allow around €10–15 per pupil per day.
