Three days cycling on the island of Texel among dunes, beaches, seals and the Wadden Sea, then a final stop on Amsterdam’s canals.
This outdoor, active final-year trip takes pupils to Texel, the largest of the Wadden Islands. By bike, they explore the dunes national park, the North Sea beaches and the island's villages, watch seals and discover the Wadden Sea, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, before ending with a day in Amsterdam and its canals. The departure date and time are set with your school in the quote. The journey is made in daytime, with a 30-minute break every 3 hours on the road, and the coach stays with the group on site, including on the island, crossing over with it by ferry.

Good to know
- Valid identity card or passport, signed parental consent form for each pupil under 18 and European Health Insurance Card (EHIC), to be requested from your health insurance fund a few weeks before departure.
- Our drivers drive for a maximum of 3 hours, then take a 30-minute break, day and night.
- Supervision is provided by the accompanying teachers; each pupil signs a code of conduct based on the school rules (no alcohol for minors or on the coach, no drug use, punctuality and compliance with instructions during free time, respect for cycling rules and the guides' instructions, no venturing onto the mudflats alone or swimming without supervision, coffee shops excluded from the programme and prohibited for under-18s).
- The pupil list and rooming list are entered in the school's online area (Excel import possible); rooms are allocated according to your instructions.
- Recommended period: May to September; mudflat walks only take place in the warmer season and depend on the tide times, so the programme is adjusted day by day. The wind blows hard on the island: bring a windproof jacket, a raincoat, sun cream and sportswear. The Netherlands uses the euro and the same electrical sockets as Belgium; lunches are not included, allow around €10–15 per pupil per day (hotel packed lunches recommended for the cycling days).
