Baroque Dresden on the Elbe, the Bastei rocks of Saxon Switzerland, then Prague with its castle, Old Town and Charles Bridge.
This trip follows the Elbe from Saxony to Bohemia. In Dresden, destroyed in 1945 and then rebuilt, pupils discover the Frauenkirche, the Zwinger and the Semperoper. They then cross Saxon Switzerland, its sandstone rocks and the Bastei Bridge, before three nights in Prague: the old town, the Jewish quarter, the castle and Charles Bridge. The departure date and time are set with your school in the quote. The journey is made by day, with two drivers taking turns and a 30-minute break every 3 hours of driving, and the coach stays with the group on site throughout the stay. Two countries, two cultural capitals and a great natural site in one week.
