The Venetian lanes of Rovinj, Pula’s Roman amphitheatre, the Plitvice waterfalls and Ljubljana: a grand journey along the Adriatic.
This trip takes pupils to the edge of Central Europe, on the Croatian Adriatic coast. In Istria they stroll through Rovinj and Poreč, small towns with a Venetian feel, discover the Roman amphitheatre of Pula and enjoy the sea. They then walk the wooden boardwalks of the Plitvice Lakes, a UNESCO-listed national park, before visiting Postojna Cave and Ljubljana, the friendly Slovenian capital. An overnight stop in Bavaria is planned on the way out and on the way back. The departure date and time are set with your school in the quote. The journey is made by day, with a 30-minute break every 3 hours of driving, and the coach stays with the group on site.

- Our drivers drive for a maximum of 3 hours, then take a 30-minute break, day and night. Given the distance (about 1,300 km), two drivers take turns and an overnight stop in Bavaria is planned on the way out and on the way back: no night driving.
- Supervision is provided by the accompanying teachers; each pupil signs a code of conduct based on the school rules (no alcohol for minors or on the coach, no drug use, punctuality and compliance with instructions during free time, swimming only at the times and places authorised by the teachers, staying on the marked trails in Plitvice park).
- The pupil list and rooming list are entered in the school’s online area (Excel import possible); rooms are allocated according to your instructions.
- Recommended period: mid-May to the end of June or September, when the sea is pleasant and the sites are less crowded than in summer; Plitvice tickets are booked in advance with a time slot. Croatia and Slovenia use the euro; bring swimwear, sun cream and good shoes for the roughly 4 hours of walking at Plitvice. Lunches are not included: allow a budget of about €10 to €15 per pupil per day, or hotel packed lunches on request.
