The Brocéliande forest, the customs officers’ path at Ploumanac’h, sea kayaking and the birds of the Sept-Îles: a trip in the open air.
This trip takes pupils to the heart of wild Brittany. They walk in Brocéliande Forest, in the footsteps of Merlin and the Knights of the Round Table, through the Val sans Retour, then reach the Pink Granite Coast and its jumbles of rocks sculpted by the sea, from the customs officers' path at Ploumanac'h to the Île Renote. The highlight of the stay: a sea kayaking trip led by qualified instructors and, as an option, the Sept-Îles nature reserve. The departure date and time are set with your school in the quote. The journey is made during the day, with a 30-minute break every 3 hours of driving, and the coach stays with the group on site.

Good to know
- Valid identity card or passport, signed parental consent form for each pupil under 18 and European Health Insurance Card (EHIC), to be requested from your health insurance fund a few weeks before departure.
- Our drivers drive for a maximum of 3 hours, then take a 30-minute break, day and night. As the Pink Granite Coast is about 800 to 900 km from Belgium, an overnight stop in Normandy is planned on the way there and back: no night driving.
- Supervision is provided by the accompanying teachers; each pupil signs a code of conduct based on the school rules (no alcohol for minors or on the coach, no drug use, punctuality and compliance with instructions during free time, following the instructors' rules and wearing a buoyancy aid when kayaking, care on the coastal path and near the rocks, respect for wildlife in protected natural areas).
- The pupil list and rooming list are entered in the school's online area (Excel import possible); rooms are allocated according to your instructions.
- Recommended period: May to June or September; kayaking requires pupils to be able to swim (a certificate may be requested) and depends on the weather: in rough seas, the session is postponed or replaced. Bring a waterproof windcheater, good walking shoes, a swimsuit, a towel and a change of clothes for kayaking; lunches are not included, allow around €10–15 per pupil per day, or hotel packed lunches for hiking days.
