Mont-Saint-Michel, Saint-Malo, the pink rocks of Ploumanac’h, Crozon, the Pointe du Raz and Carnac: the grand tour of coastal Brittany.

This trip goes all the way round Brittany and its finest landscapes. Pupils climb Mont-Saint-Michel, walk round the ramparts of Saint-Malo, follow the customs officers’ path between the pink rocks of Ploumanac’h and discover Océanopolis in Brest. They walk along the cliffs of the Crozon Peninsula, face the wind at the Pointe du Raz, stroll through Quimper and Concarneau, then go back in time among the standing stones of Carnac before a last evening in Vannes. The departure date and time are set with your school in the quote. Travel is by day, with a 30-minute break every 3 hours of driving, and the coach stays with the group on site.

Good to know

  • Valid identity card or passport, signed parental consent form for each pupil under 18 and European Health Insurance Card (EHIC), to be requested from your health insurance fund a few weeks before departure.
  • Our drivers drive for a maximum of 3 hours, then take a 30-minute break, day and night. For the long journey home, two drivers take turns at the wheel.
  • Supervision is provided by the accompanying teachers; each pupil signs a code of conduct based on the school rules (no alcohol for minors or on the coach, no drug use, punctuality and compliance with instructions during free time, care on the coastal paths: stay on the marked trails and away from the cliff edges).
  • The pupil list and rooming list are entered in the school's online area (Excel import possible); rooms are allocated according to your instructions.
  • Recommended period: April to June or September; access to the Grand Bé and part of the programme depend on the tides, which we check for your dates. France uses the euro; Breton weather changes quickly, so bring a raincoat, a jumper and good walking shoes. Lunches are not included: allow a budget of around €10–15 per pupil per day.
