The Reichstag, the Wall, Sanssouci and the Potsdam Conference, the Sachsenhausen memorial: 20th-century Germany on the ground.
Berlin tells pupils the whole story of the 20th century: Nazism, the war, division and the fall of the Wall, then reunification. This trip adds Potsdam, city of the Prussian kings with Sanssouci Park, and Cecilienhof, where the victors decided Germany’s fate in 1945, as well as a day of remembrance at the Sachsenhausen camp. The departure date and time are set with your school in the quote. The journey is made by day, with two drivers taking turns and a 30-minute break every 3 hours of driving, and the coach stays with the group on site throughout the stay. A trip rich in history, ideal for history and citizenship classes.
