Neuschwanstein, Linderhof, Herrenchiemsee the Bavarian Versailles, Munich and Nymphenburg: in the footsteps of King Ludwig II.
This trip follows the destiny of Ludwig II of Bavaria, the “fairy-tale king”. Pupils visit Neuschwanstein, the castle that inspired Walt Disney, Linderhof and its gardens, then Herrenchiemsee, a replica of Versailles on an island in Lake Chiemsee, discovering Oberammergau, Ettal Abbey and the Wieskirche along the way. In Munich, they explore the old town and Nymphenburg Palace, where the king was born. The departure date and time are set with your school in the quote. The journey is made by day, with two drivers taking turns and a 30-minute break every 3 hours of driving, and the coach stays with the group on site throughout the stay.
