Barcelona and Gaudí, Peñíscola’s seaside castle, then Valencia with its City of Arts and Sciences and the Albufera rice fields.
This trip introduces pupils to two great cities of the Spanish Mediterranean. In Barcelona, they admire the Sagrada Família, Park Güell and the façades of the Passeig de Gràcia, stroll through the Gothic Quarter and end up on Barceloneta beach. In Valencia, they explore the City of Arts and Sciences and the vast Oceanogràfic aquarium, the Lonja de la Seda and the Central Market, then watch the sunset over the Albufera lagoon, the birthplace of paella. An overnight stop in the Lyon area on the way out and on the way back avoids any night driving. The departure date and time are set with your school in the quote. The journey is made by day, with a 30-minute break every 3 hours of driving, and the coach stays with the group on site.
