Barcelona and Gaudí between sea and Gothic Quarter, Zaragoza and the Pilar, then Madrid, its museums and legendary stadium.

This trip takes pupils across Spain from east to west. In Barcelona, they discover the Sagrada Família, Park Güell and Gaudí’s façades, stroll from the Gothic Quarter to the Ramblas and enjoy Barceloneta beach. In Zaragoza, they enter the Basilica del Pilar and the Aljafería Palace, a Mudéjar gem. In Madrid, they experience the Puerta del Sol and the Plaza Mayor and visit the Prado, the Royal Palace and the Santiago Bernabéu stadium. An overnight stop in Burgundy on the way out and in the Bordeaux area on the way back avoids any night driving. The departure date and time are set with your school in the quote. Travel is by day, with a 30-minute break every 3 hours of driving, and the coach stays with the group on site.

  • Our drivers drive for a maximum of 3 hours, then take a 30-minute break, day and night. An overnight stop in Burgundy on the way out and in the Bordeaux area on the way back avoids any night driving, and two drivers take turns at the wheel.
  • Supervision is provided by the accompanying teachers; each pupil signs a code of conduct based on the school rules (no alcohol for minors or on the coach, no drug use, punctuality and compliance with instructions during free time, watchfulness for pickpockets on the Ramblas, at the Puerta del Sol and on the metro).
  • The pupil list and rooming list are entered in the school's online area (Excel import possible); rooms are allocated according to your instructions.
  • Recommended period: March to May or September–October, before or after the great heat; the Sagrada Família, Park Güell, the Royal Palace and the Bernabéu must be booked several weeks in advance, while the Prado and the Reina Sofía are free for under-18s. Spain uses the euro; lunches are not included: allow around €10–15 per pupil per day, the “menú del día” being good value.
