Mountain biking, kayaking on the Ourthe, climbing at the Freyr rocks and caving: a sporty, close-knit trip in the Belgian Ardennes.
For a final-year class that wants to let off steam and share a real group adventure without spending hours on the road, the Ardennes are ideal. Every day brings a new activity supervised by qualified instructors: mountain biking on forest trails, kayaking on the Ourthe, rock climbing on the Freyr rocks by the Meuse, caving in a local cave and orienteering. Between challenges, pupils discover Durbuy, Dinant and La Roche-en-Ardenne. The departure date and time are set with your school in the quote. The journey is made by day, with a 30-minute break every 3 hours of driving, and the coach stays with the group on site for all transfers to the activities.

- Our drivers drive for a maximum of 3 hours, then take a 30-minute break, day and night.
- Supervision is provided by the accompanying teachers; each pupil signs a code of conduct based on the school rules (no alcohol for minors or on the coach, no drug use, punctuality and compliance with instructions during free time, compliance with the instructors’ instructions, helmet compulsory for mountain biking, climbing and caving, life jacket for kayaking, and every pupil must be able to swim).
- The pupil list and rooming list are entered in the school’s online area (Excel import possible); rooms are allocated according to your instructions.
- Recommended period: May to September; kayaking depends on the level of the Ourthe and may be replaced by another activity in case of flooding or low water. Lunches are not included: allow a budget of around €10–15 per pupil per day; on request, the hotel can provide packed lunches for activity days.
