London, Oxford’s colleges, the Roman baths of Bath, Cardiff, the mountains of Snowdonia and the Beatles’ Liverpool: Britain in full.

This tour shows pupils the full diversity of Great Britain. Three days in London, from Westminster to the British Museum and Camden, then Oxford and its colleges, Bath and its Roman Baths, Cardiff and its castle. In Wales, the mountains of Eryri (Snowdonia) and Caernarfon Castle offer a breath of fresh air before Liverpool, the city of the Beatles. An overnight stop in Kent on the way back makes the last day’s drive lighter. The departure date and time are set with your school in the quote. Travel is by day, with a 30-minute break every 3 hours of driving, and the coach stays with the group on site.

Good to know

  • A valid passport is compulsory for every pupil and every member of staff (an identity card is not enough to enter the United Kingdom), together with an Electronic Travel Authorisation (ETA) applied for online before departure; signed parental consent form for each pupil under 18 and European Health Insurance Card (EHIC). Pupils of other nationalities should check their own entry requirements.
  • Our drivers drive for a maximum of 3 hours, then take a 30-minute break, day and night. An overnight stop in Kent on the way back, close to the port of Dover, avoids any night driving and makes the last day lighter.
  • Supervision is provided by the accompanying teachers; each pupil signs a code of conduct based on the school rules (no alcohol for minors or on the coach, no drug use, punctuality and compliance with instructions during free time, care when crossing the road, as traffic drives on the left in the UK: look right first).
  • The pupil list and rooming list are entered in the school’s online area (Excel import possible); rooms are allocated according to your instructions.
  • Recommended period: May to June or September, when the Snowdon railway runs to the summit; apply for passports and ETAs at least two months before departure and book the Tower of London and the Snowdon railway early. The Welsh weather changes quickly: bring a raincoat, warm clothes and walking shoes. The UK uses the pound sterling (bank cards are accepted almost everywhere) and sockets are type G (adapter needed). Lunches are not included: allow around £10–15 per pupil per day, or hotel packed lunches on request.
