Amsterdam’s canals and Jordaan, then the Reichstag dome, the East Side Gallery and Sachsenhausen in Berlin: two free, creative cities.
This trip brings together two cities that fascinate young people. In Amsterdam, pupils sail along the Golden Age canals, stroll through the Jordaan and can visit the Anne Frank House; in Berlin, after a day on the road across northern Germany, they go up into the Reichstag dome, follow the traces of the Wall to the East Side Gallery and pay their respects at the Sachsenhausen memorial. A common thread links both stages: the history of the Second World War and of freedom regained. The departure date and time are set with your school in the quote. The journey is made by day, with a 30-minute break every 3 hours of driving, and the coach stays with the group on site.
