A full day at Europa-Park, Black Forest lakes and waterfalls, Strasbourg’s Petite France and Colmar: thrills and postcard views.
About five hours’ drive from Belgium, Alsace and the Black Forest bring together everything a final-year class expects from an end-of-school trip: a full day at Europa-Park, Germany’s largest theme park, the forests, lakes and waterfalls of Baden-Württemberg, the half-timbered houses of Colmar and Strasbourg Cathedral. Two countries, two cultures and plenty of shared memories. The departure date and time are set with your school in the quote; the journey is made by day, with a 30-minute break every 3 hours of driving, and the coach stays with the group throughout the stay.

- Valid identity card or passport, signed parental consent form for each pupil under 18 and European Health Insurance Card (EHIC), to be requested from your health insurance fund a few weeks before departure.
- Our drivers drive for a maximum of 3 hours, then take a 30-minute break, day and night.
- Supervision is provided by the accompanying teachers; each pupil signs a code of conduct based on the school rules (no alcohol for minors or on the coach, including beer, which is legal from 16 in Germany, no drug use, punctuality and respect for the meeting points set in the theme park).
- The pupil list and rooming list are entered in the school's online area (Excel import possible); rooms are allocated according to your instructions.
- Recommended period: April to June and September–October, during Europa-Park’s opening season (late March to early November); park tickets are booked in advance at the school rate. France and Germany use the euro and the same electrical sockets as Belgium; in the Black Forest the weather changes quickly, so bring warm, waterproof clothing. Lunches are not included: allow a budget of around €10–15 per pupil per day; on request, the hotel can provide packed lunches.
