Rab and Pag islands for senior groups: Rab and its four bell towers, Pag lace and Senj (7 days)

Day 1: Departure and stopover in southern Germany

• Morning departure from the place of your choice.
• Regular breaks along the way: our drivers drive for 3 hours at most, then take a 30-minute break.
• Coffee break on the way and lunch at your own pace at a service area.
• Late-afternoon arrival at the stopover hotel in southern Germany, dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Arrival on the island of Rab

• Breakfast, then onward journey with regular breaks.
• Crossing Austria and Slovenia through the Alps.
• Drive along the Kvarner coast to Stinica, then a short ferry crossing to the island of Rab.
• Check-in at the hotel for 4 nights, dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Rab, the town of four bell towers

• Breakfast at the hotel.
• Guided walk through Rab’s old town: its four bell towers, the church of St Mary the Great and the stone lanes (on request).
• Fish lunch at a restaurant by the harbour (on request).
• Free afternoon: a stroll in the shade of the Komrčar woodland park by the sea, or a swim.
• Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

Day 4: Pag island: lace, cheese and stone landscapes

• Breakfast at the hotel.
• Ferry to the mainland, a short drive to Prizna, then a crossing to the island of Pag.
• Discovering the town of Pag, rebuilt in the 15th century, and its lace, listed with Croatian lacemaking as UNESCO intangible cultural heritage.
• Meeting a Pag lacemaker (on request).
• Tasting of Pag cheese at a cheese dairy on the island (on request).
• Return to Rab by ferry in the late afternoon, dinner and overnight at the hotel.

Day 5: Free day on the island of Rab

• Free day (the driver’s rest day): beach, a stroll along the harbour or a coffee on a terrace.
• Boat trip around the island with a fish lunch on board (on request).
• Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

Day 6: Senj and drive to southern Germany

• Breakfast, then ferry to the mainland.
• Stop in Senj, below the 16th-century Nehaj fortress overlooking the sea.
• Drive north through Slovenia and Austria, with regular breaks.
• Late-afternoon arrival at the stopover hotel in southern Germany, dinner and overnight.

Day 7: Return to Belgium

• Breakfast, then the last leg to Belgium with regular breaks.
• Arrival back in your region in the evening.
