9 days in northern Dalmatia: Zadar’s sea organ, the little town of Nin, Šibenik cathedral and the Krka waterfalls.
Zadar, a Roman and medieval town set on a peninsula, is one of the most pleasant towns on the Dalmatian coast: you stroll along a flat seafront, listening to the sea organ playing with the waves. Your group stays there four nights on half board, after two stopovers, in southern Germany and then in the Zagreb area, which make the journey gentler. On the programme: Zadar’s old town and the church of St Donatus, the little town of Nin and its salt pans, then Šibenik, whose white-stone cathedral of St James is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. In Krka National Park, wooden walkways run alongside the Skradinski buk waterfalls. A free day is planned in the middle of the stay. Walking is mostly easy; only Šibenik, built on a slope, involves climbing some steps.
