12 days in Dubrovnik: the UNESCO-listed old town, Cavtat, the Konavle valley, Trsteno Arboretum and the Elaphiti Islands.
Encircled by ramparts above a deep blue sea, Dubrovnik is one of the most beautiful fortified towns in the Mediterranean and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It is a long coach journey: we split it into three days on the way out and three on the way back, with two stopovers each way, so that you arrive rested. On site, your group stays seven nights in the same hotel on the Dubrovnik riviera on half board, without repacking. The days alternate between the old town, the little harbour of Cavtat, the Renaissance gardens of Trsteno, a cruise to the Elaphiti Islands and free time. The old town is entirely pedestrian and paved; the Stradun is easy to walk, but the side lanes and the walk around the walls involve many steps, which everyone may choose to do or not. Two free days let you enjoy the sea in complete tranquillity.
