Four days in Poznań, cradle of Poland: Old Market Square, the noon goats, the cathedral and Kórnik Castle.

Poznań is one of Poland’s oldest cities: the country’s first rulers rest on the island of Ostrów Tumski. Every day at noon, crowds gather on the Old Market Square to watch two mechanical goats emerge from the tower of the Renaissance town hall and butt heads twelve times. Your group will also taste the St Martin’s croissant, filled with poppy-seed paste, a protected local speciality. Half a day at Kórnik Castle, beside its lake and surrounded by a large arboretum, rounds off the stay gently. The journey is made with two drivers and regular breaks, and the hotel welcomes you on a half-board basis.
