A fun day at Phantasialand near Cologne: six themed worlds, rides for all ages and shows.
Phantasialand, in Brühl near Cologne, is one of Germany’s best-known theme parks. Its six themed worlds, from Berlin to China by way of Mexico and Africa, offer carefully designed settings and rides suited to every age. It is an ideal outing for the end of the school year or to reward a class project. Older pupils can also observe speed, acceleration and centrifugal force on the rides, as seen in science lessons. The trip suits pupils from age 8 to the end of secondary school.
Programme
- Departure from your school at the agreed time.
- Coach journey with a 30-minute break after at most 3 hours of driving.
- Arrival at Phantasialand in mid-morning.
- Park tickets at the school group rate (on request).
- Free day in the park in small groups supervised by the teachers, with a set meeting point.
- Lunch in a park restaurant (on request).
- Departure from the park in the late afternoon.
- Coach journey with a 30-minute break after at most 3 hours of driving.
- Return to school in the evening.

Good to know
- Identity card (Kids-ID for under-12s), parental consent to travel abroad and European Health Insurance Card (EHIC) for each pupil.
- Times adapted to your school; pupils are supervised by their teachers.
- The park is mainly open from April to November: opening dates to be checked; some rides have a minimum height requirement.
- Bring a packed lunch (or a meal on request), a water bottle and clothes suited to the weather.
