Five quiet days in the spa towns of Lower Silesia: spa parks, pump rooms, a paper mill and the old town of Kłodzko.
At the foot of the Sudetes, Kłodzko Land is a region of wooded hills and small spa towns, visited since the 19th century for their mineral waters. Your group stays four nights in the same hotel in Polanica-Zdrój, whose spa park and covered promenade are easy to stroll. You will taste the waters in the pump rooms, visit a 17th-century paper mill turned museum in Duszniki-Zdrój and wander through the park of Kudowa-Zdrój. In Kłodzko, a Gothic bridge decorated with statues leads to the old town, overlooked by an imposing fortress. Distances on site are short, leaving real moments of rest after the long journey made with two drivers.
Programme
Day 1: Journey to Polanica-Zdrój
- Morning departure from the place of your choice, with two drivers on board.
- Regular breaks along the way: our drivers drive for 3 hours at most, then take a 30-minute break.
- Drive through Germany via Dresden, arriving in Polanica-Zdrój in the evening and checking in at the hotel for 4 nights.
- Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
Day 2: Polanica-Zdrój and Duszniki-Zdrój
- Breakfast at the hotel.
- Morning on foot in the spa park of Polanica-Zdrój and tasting of the mineral waters in the pump room.
- Lunch booked at a restaurant (on request).
- Short drive to Duszniki-Zdrój (about 20 minutes) and visit to the Museum of Papermaking, housed in a 17th-century mill.
- Hand papermaking workshop at the museum (on request).
- Stroll in the spa park of Duszniki, where the young Chopin took a cure in 1826.
- Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
Day 3: Kudowa-Zdrój and Wambierzyce
- Breakfast at the hotel.
- Drive to Kudowa-Zdrój (about 30 minutes) and a stroll in its large spa park.
- Visit to the Skull Chapel of Czermna (on request).
- Lunch booked at a restaurant (on request).
- In the afternoon, stop in Wambierzyce and visit to its baroque basilica, a major pilgrimage site in Silesia.
- Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
Day 4: Kłodzko and a free afternoon
- Breakfast at the hotel.
- Drive to Kłodzko (about 20 minutes) and a walk across the Gothic St John’s Bridge, decorated with statues.
- Guided tour of the old town and Kłodzko Fortress (on request).
- Lunch booked at a restaurant (on request).
- Return to Polanica-Zdrój and a free afternoon to enjoy the spa park or a treatment (booked individually).
- Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
Day 5: Return to Belgium
- Breakfast at the hotel.
- Early-morning departure with two drivers on board.
- Regular breaks along the way: our drivers drive for 3 hours at most, then take a 30-minute break.
- Arrival back in your region in the evening.

- Walking level: easy in the spa parks; Kłodzko Fortress involves climbs, stairs and underground passages, so its visit remains optional.
