Three days in Paris in December: the illuminated Champs-Élysées, the animated windows of Boulevard Haussmann, a Seine cruise and Notre-Dame.

At Christmas, Paris dresses in lights and offers an unforgettable spectacle. Your group discovers the illuminated Champs-Élysées by coach, then the animated windows of the department stores on Boulevard Haussmann and the great tree beneath the dome of the Galeries Lafayette. A commented cruise on the Seine lets you admire the monuments comfortably seated, warm behind the windows. The second day leads to the Île de la Cité and Notre-Dame, reopened in December 2024, then to Montmartre, where the funicular avoids the steps of the Sacré-Cœur. Transfers are made by coach, without the metro, and the hotel welcomes the group for two nights without changing rooms.

Programme

Day 1: Journey to Paris and Christmas lights

  • Morning departure from the pick-up point of your choice, at a time suited to your region.
  • Comfortable coach journey: our drivers drive for a maximum of 3 hours, then take a 30-minute break.
  • Free lunch on the way.
  • Arrival in Paris in the afternoon and check-in at the hotel for 2 nights, in Paris or the near suburbs.
  • Coach tour of the Christmas lights: Place de la Concorde, the Champs-Élysées and the Arc de Triomphe.
  • Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 2: Notre-Dame, Montmartre and department stores

  • Breakfast at the hotel.
  • Guided tour of the Île de la Cité and Notre-Dame Cathedral (on request).
  • Seated lunch in a Parisian brasserie (on request).
  • Funicular ride up to the Sacré-Cœur and stroll on the Montmartre hill.
  • Free late afternoon in front of the animated windows of Boulevard Haussmann and beneath the dome of the Galeries Lafayette.
  • Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 3: Seine cruise and return

  • Breakfast at the hotel.
  • Commented cruise on the Seine, from the Eiffel Tower to the Île Saint-Louis (on request).
  • Free time near the Eiffel Tower or at a Christmas market, depending on the year’s edition.
  • Return journey in the early afternoon, with regular breaks.
  • Return in the evening to your region.

Good to know

  • Valid identity card and European Health Insurance Card (EHIC) for each participant; bring your usual medication.
  • Departure and return times adapted to your group’s pick-up point; trip available from 20 participants, on the date of your choice, price on quotation.
  • Walking level: moderate; busy pavements, some stairs; in Montmartre, sloping cobbled streets (funicular up to the Sacré-Cœur). Wheelchair users or people with reduced mobility: please let us know when booking.
  • Champs-Élysées lights and department store windows: usually from mid-November to early January; Christmas markets from late November to late December, to be checked each year.

Cancellation and refund protection

Optional, to be taken when booking: you can cancel without giving a reason and get the base price of the trip back, provided your request reaches us at least 48 hours before departure for a day trip, 7 days before if admission tickets are included, 14 days before for a trip with overnight stays. Price: 7 % of the trip up to €1,000, 5 % from €1,001 to €2,500, 3.5 % above.
