Amiens Christmas Market, one of the largest in northern France: chalets in the centre, the illuminated cathedral and the Saint-Leu quarter.
Every Advent, Amiens hosts one of the largest Christmas markets in northern France, with chalets stretching along the pedestrian streets of the town centre. You will find crafts, decorations, Picardy produce and sweets, including the famous macarons of Amiens. Notre-Dame Cathedral, the largest in France, towers over the festivities; depending on the year, its façade is lit up in colour after dark. By the water, the Saint-Leu quarter and its colourful houses offer a quiet break. A warm lunch, flat streets and a coach dropping the group near the centre: everything is planned for a serene day.
