Torremolinos for groups: Costa del Sol, Málaga, Ronda and Granada (15 days)

Day 1: Departure from Belgium

• Departure in the late afternoon from the place of your choice.
• Overnight journey to Spain with two drivers on board (double crew): no more than 3 hours of driving, then a 30-minute break.

Day 2: Overnight stop in the Valencia region

• The journey continues through France and Catalonia, with regular breaks.
• Arrival in the Valencia region in the afternoon, hotel check-in and free evening.

Day 3: Arrival on the Costa del Sol

• Breakfast, then drive to Andalusia, with regular breaks.
• Arrival in Torremolinos in the late afternoon and check-in at a 3-star hotel near the beach for 10 nights, on half board.
• Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

Day 4: Torremolinos and La Carihuela

• Morning walk: Calle San Miguel, the pedestrian shopping street, then down to the beach.
• Stroll along the seafront to the fishermen’s quarter of La Carihuela.
• Lunch of “pescaíto frito”, Andalusian fried fish (on request).
• Free afternoon at the beach.

Day 5: Málaga

• Drive to Málaga (about 20 minutes).
• Self-guided visit of the historic centre: the cathedral, Calle Larios and Plaza de la Merced, where Pablo Picasso was born.
• Visit to the Alcazaba, the Moorish fortress above the port (on request).
• Visit to the Museo Picasso Málaga (on request).
• Free time at the port (Muelle Uno), then return to Torremolinos.

Day 6: Free day in Torremolinos

• Free day for the beach, the seafront promenade or the old town, at your own pace (drivers’ rest day, no coach).

Day 7: Ronda

• Mountain drive to Ronda (about 1 hour 45 minutes).
• Discovery of the town perched above the Tajo gorge and its Puente Nuevo, nearly 100 metres high.
• Visit to the Real Maestranza bullring, one of the oldest in Spain (on request).
• Free time in the old town, then return to Torremolinos.

Day 8: Mijas and Marbella

• Morning in Mijas Pueblo, a white village on the mountainside with views over the coast.
• In the afternoon, Marbella: the old town and the Plaza de los Naranjos.
• Stop at the marina of Puerto Banús, then return to Torremolinos.

Day 9: Free day in Torremolinos

• Free day for the beach, the seafront promenade or the old town, at your own pace (drivers’ rest day, no coach).

Day 10: Granada and the Alhambra

• Drive to Granada (about 1 hour 45 minutes).
• Guided tour of the Alhambra and the Generalife gardens (on request).
• Free time in the centre: the cathedral, the Royal Chapel and the lanes of the Albaicín.
• Return to Torremolinos in the evening.

Day 11: Nerja and Frigiliana

• Drive east to Nerja (about 1 hour).
• Walk to the Balcón de Europa, a viewpoint above the sea.
• Visit to the Caves of Nerja (on request).
• In the afternoon, Frigiliana, a white village with flower-filled lanes, then return to Torremolinos.

Day 12: Free day in Torremolinos

• Free day for the beach, the seafront promenade or the old town, at your own pace (drivers’ rest day, no coach).

Day 13: Drive to the Valencia region

• Breakfast at the hotel and check-out.
• Drive north with regular breaks, and overnight stop in the Valencia region.

Day 14: Journey to Belgium

• Breakfast, then departure in the morning.
• Day and overnight journey with a double crew, with a break of at least 30 minutes every 3 hours of driving.

Day 15: Back in Belgium

• Arrival in your home area in the morning.
